Consultation
Following your initial appointment, we will schedule most patients for consultation to discuss your diagnosis and treatment options. This is an opportunity to explore all treatment options available and to discuss any questions or concerns regarding your care. In complex or advanced cases, a second consultation may be required to refine treatment plans and objectives. A written treatment plan will be presented to all patients for acceptance prior to treatment commencement.
A preoperative consultation and physical examination, by your family physician, is often required for patients undergoing implant surgical procedures and IV anesthesia. In addition, certain medical and dental conditions may require tests and examinations to be performed prior to treatment. We will advise you of any specific testing needs and assist with referral to appropriate facilities.
